DJ Campbell has said that he would like to represent the England national team one day. The striker, who helped Blackpool into the top flight last term as a loan star before completing a permanent switch over the summer, has netted eight times already this season.

That return is considerably better than established international stars such as Wayne Rooney, Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch.

Campbell hopes his exploits will be given the recognition they deserve and believes a call-up from Fabio Capello could be a possibility if he continues to shine.
