WILSHERE BACKS WENGER

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, who is regarded as one of the rising stars of English football, has said that he will definitely consider leaving Arsenal if the club decides to part ways with manager Arsene Wenger.

There is a lot of doubt about the future of Wenger at the club after several years of underachievement by the club. They have also failed to spend any money in the hope of winning trophies. This has infuriated fans a lot and they have turned their back on the manager in recent times.

Arsenal Supporters Trust recently said that Wenger should not be given a new contract until the end of the season. The Frenchman's contract runs out at the end of the season and there has been no talk about a new deal. Wilshere is one of the finest players in the Arsenal team. Even though he has been rocked by a number of injuries in the last few years, he is undoubtedly not short of admirers if he wants to leave Arsenal. He has threatened the club by saying that Wenger should stay because he believes that the Frenchman is the right man for the job. If it is not the case, then he will not think twice about leaving Arsenal.

"I want to win things with Arsenal and I want to be there in the future, but if the boss leaves then things could change. Arsenal are always in my heart and by signing a deal for the next five years shows my commitment to them and their commitment to me so at the moment everything is good. Arsene Wenger has been there for so many years and he's always delivered trophies. OK we've had a little dip in the last five or six years, but he's a great manager and people who question his ability are ridiculous," said the 20-year-old.
