Carragher believes Jadon Sancho can progress as Raheem Sterling

As a result, he has been widely touted to make a Premier League comeback this summer and Carragher believes the teenager should have a number of offers on the table. He added that Sancho has plenty of time to develop his skills and feels he can become a consistent contributor of goals similar to compatriot Sterling.

He told Sky Sports: "I think he'll have his pick of top clubs in the Premier League, and though the fee may look eye-watering, I think it'll be one of them that over time will look cheap. You're going to get a good player for 10 years there if you keep him at your club. If you think about the development of Raheem Sterling at Manchester City, it feels like something similar could happen. It feels like he could be the next Raheem Sterling in terms of goals and assists numbers."

Sancho has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks and the latter are reckoned as the favourites to land his signature. Liverpool are definitely the most attractive option for another player at the moment but Sancho may be reluctant to accept a move without the assurance of playing time.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have recently sealed the signature of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for the summer and there are reports suggesting that they may have cooled the pursuit of Sancho. As such, United seem to be heading the queue to acquire his services and a report from The Sun has claimed that the attacker is open to the prospect of moving to Old Trafford.
